Proactive or Procrastinator

I am a proactive person, but also a little bit of procrastinator. I am a proactive person because I always turn my homework or my works on time, always prepare for things before one day. I am also a little bit of a procrastinator because sometimes I had homework and it was Friday near the weekend so I just thought that I can do it tomorrow, and then tomorrow I forgot to do it so here it comes Sunday!! I got stressed out, panicked and had to stayed up late to do homework. But I don't usually do that, I might do it sometimes because I might have friends come over, or come home late, etc.

My level of my productivity relates to my amount of free time is by if I have work to do that due tomorrow or even next week, I will try to get it done today, as soon as possible. So I will have free time to do what I want to do. But sometimes when I'm texting my friends, or talking to my friends, I can hardly get my work done on time. Because I got into to those things easily. Example: I can get my all my work done in 30 mins, but when I'm texting or talk to my friends, it takes me hours to finish it.

What I would change about my work habits is to put those electronics stuff away or tell my friends that I have homework to do, she needs to stop talking to me,..... If I can do that I would get my work done on time, don't have to wait until the last minutes to get stressed out. But sometimes, it is hard to resist from those things. Education is more important than texting. Put that in your mind.

Lessons Learned

The most interesting part of our project is to interview Auntie Carly Garrison- who makes bikinis. It's a part of fashion and beachwear. It's very interesting to find out the way she makes and figure out her own patterns for bikinis. And one more thing that is interesting that our project was actually got to the final product and edited it. It took us a long time to finish it, about 9 weeks.

The biggest roadblock was we could not meet up at Auntie Carly's house. Meeting the team is a big challenge But we still work together in class. Another roadblock was some of our b-roll did not match the interviews, so we have to re-shoot them. And we also need more b-roll too.

The most valuable part of flim making process was everyone was knowing what they are supposed to do and one person does not have to do all the work. Also know where to place the mic and choose the best angles so the lighting will not be too dark or super bright. And you need to know how to make your story interesting. You do not want to make the audience look at the same shots over and over right??

Back To School

My favorite moment so far is to be in Chorus and G&T. I like to be in it because it helps me to know more about using the iMac. I like Chorus because it helps me to improve my voice and know how to control it. My biggest challenge was to experiment the project in Photoshop, we had to explore the program and do whatever we want. It was fun and also hard, because I never tried it before, it was my first time doing it and I didn't know where to start so it was kind of hard.

To be successful this year, I need to be sure that I complete all my homework assignments on time and I also need to listen to all the directions that my teacher gives me, Mr.Sanderl. I think this is going to be a great school year and I'm going to have lots of fun!!!
